So, in the last few days, I've witnessed a partial solar eclipse, some weird bugs, a ferry ride, and some silly children.
I'm a big fan of macro lenses. I think they are very special. When you have a macro lens, it opens up a whole other world of images. A whole tiny world opens up to you. These little bugs are a great example.
They were all over a plant in my garden. I suppose I should have busted out the pesticide, but I broke out my camera and macro lens instead.
The solar eclipse was an interesting thing to witness. We ended up breaking out the welding masks and cereal boxes to take a look. I also took my pinhole lens out to photograph the eclipse, but this is the best photo I could muster.
Last, but certainly not least are my little ones. We ended up taking them on a ferry ride after a meal in Galveston. It was great and they really seemed to enjoy it. My kids are the light of my life and a constant source of inspiration and joy.
