Photo Journal - August 24, 2017
This week was my little girl’s birthday. She turned 4. It was a week of children’s birthday parties and toys and cake. We also went to see some friends of ours outside of Austin, which was a lot of fun.
It’s times like these when I’m truly glad I’m a photographer and that I have invested so much time and effort in progressing in this hobby. Every year, the time lines of my social media accounts is flooded with looks back at birthdays and other important events, and there are these beautiful photographs to remind me of them. I love these images and I hope my children will as well as they get older.
we also went to see some friends in Elgin, Texas. Rural living has quite a few distinct advantages. One of the loudest is the ability to shoot firearms in your backyard. Good friends, good times, and a little target practice. God, I love Texas.
